ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The No. 1 Washington University in St. Louis women's soccer team scored four second-half goals en route to a 4-0 win over Rose-Hulman on senior day. The Bears are now 4-0 on the season as they head into a six-game road stretch.
Prior to the game, WashU honored its five seniors –

Amanda Kesler, who will be finishing her master's degree this year.
After nearly 67 minutes of scoreless soccer, the Bears finally broke through with a goal at 66:55. Senior
Grace Ehlert dribbled up and gave a short pass to junior
Madi Foley who fired the ball into the opposite corner for a 1-0 lead. The goal marks Foley's first of the season.
In the 70
th minute, Rose-Hulman was whistled for a handball in the box, resulting in a penalty kick. Ehlert converted in the low right corner, putting WashU ahead 2-0.
In the 81
st minute, junior
Sophie Viscovich dribbled up and ripped a shot from outside the 20, sailing into the top left corner for a 3-0 advantage.
WashU struck again in the 84
th minute as Ehlert took a short pass from senior
Kerrigan Ferland, dribbled around a diving goalkeeper and found the back of the net for her team-leading sixth goal of the year.
As a team, the Bears registered 28 shots with 11 goal and did not allow a shot on Rose-Hulman's end. WashU also recorded 16 corner kicks on the day.
Ehlert had five shots with three on goal, including two goals and an assist. Foley had three shots, all on goal and Viscovich had four shots with two on goal.
The Bears hit the road on Friday for a 7 p.m. match at North Central and travel to Trine on Sunday for an 11 a.m. ET match.
WashU will return to Francis Olympic Field on Saturday, October 4 to open the UAA schedule against Brandeis.
