BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The No. 1 Washington University in St. Louis women's soccer team beat Illinois Wesleyan 6-0 on the road on Tuesday evening. The Bears are now 2-0 on the year.
WashU wasted no time getting on the board, scoring 1:26 in. Sophomore
Kate Martin netted her first goal of the season on a pass from junior
Keira Smyser for the 1-0 game.
The Bears doubled their lead in the 15

Just 2:58 into the second half, Ehlert scored her second goal of the game and third of the season on a pass from Smyser for a 5-0 lead.

The Bears recorded 41 shots including 19 on goal to IWU's seven shots and two on goal. WashU registered seven corner kicks to IWU's one.
WashU hosts No. 25 Calvin on Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. on Francis Olympic Field for the Pride game. The Bears then welcome Rose-Hulman on Sunday, which will be senior day at 1 p.m.
