BLOOMINGTON & TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The No. 1 Washington University in St. Louis women's outdoor track and field team took to the road this weekend, taking part in three different meets on Friday.
Results from the Billy Hayes Invite (Indiana) and Sycamore Open (Indiana State) have been posted while the results from the USF Fighting Chance Meet will not be available until very late and will be recapped on Saturday.

- Shot Put
- Junior Jenae Bothe finished third behind a pair of Div. I throwers with a distance of 13.53m
- 4x100m
- 800m
- Sophomore Cate Christopher won the event with a time of 2:10.64
- The mark is the 17th best in Div. III this spring.
- Sophomore Caroline Echols (5th – 2:13.37) and junior Cate Stevens (7th – 2:13.40) also finished in the top 10
- 400m
- Spytek finished fourth with a time of 55.83
- 100m
- 800m
- Senior Izzy Gorton set a new PR with a time of 2:07.15.
- The time is the new fourth best in Div. III this spring
- 400m Hurdles
- Senior Ruby Kaplan finished second with a time of 1:03.62
- 200m
- Gay was runner-up with the seventh best time this spring in Div. III at 24.12
- 4x400m
- The team of sophomore Julia Coric, Spytek, first-year Quinn Bird, and Kaplan were runners-up with a time of 3:47.84

- Long Jump
- Graduate Ebun Opata finished fourth with a distance of 5.58m
- Triple Jump
- Opata got her first event win of the day with a new meet record of 12.42m
- Pole Vault
- Senior Yasmin Ruff was second with a cleared height of 3.84m
WashU will compete one more time before selections are made for the 2025 NCAA Div. III Outdoor Championships when they travel to Rock Island, Ill. for the Augustana Twilight Final Qualifier on May 14 and 15.
