CANTON, Mo. – In cool, breezy conditions, the No. 1 Washington University in St. Louis women's track & field team won the Wildcat Invite hosted by Culver-Stockton on Saturday.
With the meet keeping team scores, the Bears claimed the win with 207 points, nearly doubling the points of second place Truman State (115.5). Central Methodist (59), Quincy (47) and Cornell College (44.5) rounded out the top five.
Top Finishes from Wildcat Invite
- Shot Put
- Senior Jenae Bothe claimed the win with a throw of 14.24, more than three meters more than the runner-up from Upper Iowa
- Long Jump
- High Jump
- Discus
- Bothe was runner-up with a throw of 37.16m while senior Kally Mack finished fourth with a throw of 34.41m
- Javelin
- First-year Harper Karr claimed the win with a throw of 31.48m
- Hammer Throw
- Mack finished fourth with a throw of 44.06m
- 4x100m
- The WashU "A" team claimed the win with a time of 46.24
- 1500m
- It was a 1-2-3-4 finish for WashU with sophomore Mackenzie Raue winning the event wit a time of 4:40.75.
- Senior Isabel Erdmann was runner-up with a time of 4:42.33
- Senior Tatum Goforth (4:42.45) and first-year Megan Raue (4:43.12) finished third and fourth, respectively.
- 100m
- Senior Jasmine Wright led the way for WashU with a win in a time of 12.02.
- Right behind her was senior Kylie Spytek with a time of 12.13 and junior Julia Coric with a time of 12.20.
- Sophomore Hailey Weir (12.46) also finished in the top 10 with in seventh place.
- Junior Gayle Henderson was 11th with a time of 12.82

- WashU took each of the top 10 times in the event.

- Spytek claimed the win with a time of 24.79 with sophomore Quinn Bird finishing second with a time of 24.92
- Weir (25.01) and Coric (25.13) finished in third and fourth place respectively

- WashU "A" claimed the win with a time of 3:50.53
- WashU "B" (3:58.33) and WashU "D" (4:06.95) finished second and third, respectively.
WashU will compete next Saturday, Apr. 25 and Sunday, Apr. 26 at the 2026 UAA Outdoor Championships in Cleveland, Ohio, hosted by Case Western Reserve at the CWRU Sudeck Track.
