CLAREMONT, Calif. -- The 2025 season has come to close for seniors Stefan Hester and Pato Garcia Muriel as the duo fell in the semifinals of the 2025 NCAA Doubles Championship on Sunday afternoon.

The pair fell to No. 4 Jaiver Gonzalez and Vuk Vuksanovic of Tufts in three sets. The Jumbos took the first set 6-4 before the Bears rebounded for a 6-3 win in set two. In the decisive third set, Gonzalez and Vuksanovic claimed a 6-1 set win to advance to the championship match on Monday. 

The No. 11 WashU duo earned All-American status earlier this week by winning their first match at the NCAA Championships. The conclude the season with a 21-7 overall record.
