ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The No. 9 Washington University in St. Lous women's tennis team earned a trip to the NCAA Regional Final, defeating Grinnell 4-0 in the Regional Semifinal on Saturday morning.
Doubles
The Bears earned the doubles point for a 1-0 lead, picking up wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.

Eleanor Archer and first-year
Caitlin Bui defeated Isa Voinescu and Paige Sargent 6-1 at No. 1 doubles.
Junior
Eliana Hanna and
Ally Lin beat Anika Sheth and Pari Chavan 6-1 at No. 3 doubles.
Junior
Amber Edmonds and first-year
Sam Slowik were tied with Erin Jarvis and Lily Perrin 3-3 at No. 2 doubles when the doubles point was determined.
Singles
Archer picked up the first singles point of the day for WashU, defeating Chavan 6-2, 6-0.
Junior
Nina Moravek followed with a win at No. 6 singles, topping Jarvis 6-0, 6-0.
Lin secured the match for the Bears, beating Utsah Kalra 6-0, 6-2 at No. 4 singles.
Bui defeated Sargent 6-2 in set one and things were tied 2-2 in set two when the match was decided. No. 3 singles between Hanna and Perrin went unfinished and sat at 6-6 (4-3). Edmonds won the first set 6-2 over Sheth and was up 3-1 in the second set at the conclusion of the match.
The Bears move on to their second-straight Regional Final and will play the winner of Sewanee and Kenyon tomorrow at 12 p.m. at Dwight Davis Tennis Center.
