JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – It might have been cool and rainy, but the No. 1 Washington University in St. Louis women's track and field team competed away from home for the first time this outdoor season at the Illinois College True Blue Invite on Friday afternoon in Jacksonville, Ill.

- 800m
- First-year Lauren Raley was the top finisher with a time of 2:16.72
- Sophomore Isabel Erdmann made it a 1-2 finish for the Bears with a time of 2:21.63 to finish second.
- 1500m
- Sophomore Amelie Maltz finished fourth in a time of 5:00.74
- Senior Isabel Boufarah also finished in the top 10 in ninth place with a time of 5:20.34
- 3000m Steeplechase
- It was another 1-2 finish for WashU as first-years Maddy Lee and Sally Carrington were the top two finishers.
- Lee finished first in a time of 11:31.17 while Carrington was next in 11:45.05.
- Pole Vault
- Hammer Throw
- Senior Taylor Simpson was runner up with a throw of 44.35m
- Junior Kally Mack also finished in the top five with a fourth place throw of 41.73.
WashU will travel next Saturday, April 12 to the Greenville Select meet in Greenville, Ill. Only the 5K athletes will travel to a different meet. They will travel to the UW-Platteville Invite on Friday, April 11.
