ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – The No. 10 Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team posted a 5-0 UAA quarterfinal win over No. 17 Case Western Reserve University on Friday morning. In UAA seedings, the Bears entered the tournament as the fourth seed and CWRU was the fifth seed.
The Bears move on to face No. 1 Chicago in the semifinals, slated for Friday at 12:30 p.m. ET.

Doubles
The Bears earned the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.
No. 1-ranked duo of sophomore
Eleanor Archer and first-year
Caitlin Bui defeated No. 10 Lily McCloskey and Katalina Wang 6-2 at No. 1 doubles.
Junior
Eliana Hanna and first-year
Ally Lin defeated Laurel Utterback and Ellior Rose 6-2 at No. 3 doubles.
Junior
Amber Edmonds and first-year
Sam Slowik's match at No. 2 doubles halted when the Bears were up 5-2 once the doubles point was won.
Singles
Lin beat Anna Kan 6-2, 6-3 at No. 4 singles and Edmonds topped Asha Shukla 6-2, 6-2 at No. 5 singles.
No. 10 Bui defeated No. 43 Utterback 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 singles and junior
Nina Moravek beat Katie Wong 6-2, 6-2 at No. 6 singles to clinch the match for WashU.
Archer defeated McCloskey 7-5 in the first set at No. 1 singles and the second set was halted at 3-3.
Hanna beat Wang 6-4 in the first set of No. 3 singles and fell 2-6 in the second. The set was halted with Hanna up 3-0 in the third.
Win a win tomorrow against Chicago, the Bears would move on to the championship which is on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. ET. A loss would send WashU into the third place match, also on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. ET.
