ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The No. 2 Washington University in St. Louis women's soccer team defeated Centre 2-1 on Sunday afternoon. Prior to the game, the Bears honored its seniors and graduated students:

After a scoreless first half, Centre broke through in the 57
th minute as Alexis Kronenthal put in a ball from Lydia Bowling to make it a 1-0 game.
The Bears evened things up 10 minutes later in the 67
th minute as
Madi Foley controlled a long ball and blasted it into the goal for her second goal of the season.
WashU took the lead as junior
Grace Ehlert scored her second game-winning goal in as many games, corralling a blocked ball and sending it into the back of the net.
The Bears recorded 16 shots to Centre's one and had six corner kicks to the Colonel's two.
WashU is back at home on Friday afternoon with a 3 p.m. match against North Central.
