PLATTEVILLE, Wis. / GREENVILLE, Ill. - The No. 1 Washington University in St. Louis women's track and field team split up to cover a pair of meets this weekend, Friday-Saturday, April 12-13. A majority of the team competed at Greenville University, while a handful of distance runners took part in the UW-Platteville Invite, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Plateville. The Bears racked up 10 event victories at Greenville.

Emma Kelley each set a new school record. Blake set the school record in the 5,000 meter while Kelley set the record in the 400 meter.
WashU won the Greenville meet by racking up 286.50 points.

- Jasmine Wright claimed the 100-meter victory with her time of 12.22
- Maya Davis, who finished right behind Wright, took second with a mark of 12.32

- WashU took home the first four places in the 200-meter event
- Nicole Stewart won the event with her mark of 24.65
- Emma Kelley finished second as she recorded a time of 24.72
- Lauren Gay (24.83) and Maya Davis (25.30) earned third and fourth
400 Meters:
- SCHOOL RECORD - Emma Kelley won the 400-meter event by over three and a half seconds as she crossed the finish line with a time of 54.18
- Caroline Echols earned second with her mark of 57.66
- Kylie Spytek (57.77) and Cate Christopher (57.81) notched third and fourth, respectively
