No. 21 Men’s Track and Field Earns Greenville Select Team Title

 
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. / GREENVILLE, Ill. - The No. 21 Washington University in St. Louis men's track and field team split up to cover a pair of meets this weekend, Friday-Saturday, April 12-13. A majority of the team competed at Greenville University, while a handful of distance runners took part in the UW-Platteville Invite, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Plateville. 
 
WashU won the Greenville Select with 135.00 points. 
 
Friday's Top Finishers (at UW-Platteville): 
 
5,000 Meters: 
 
Saturday's Top Finishers (at Greenville): 
 
100 Meters: 
  • Samuel Pan posted a time of 11.29 to take home sixth 
 
200 Meters: 
  • Elvin Binagi took 11th in the 200-meter event with his mark of 22.37 
  • Alex Djetto placed 13th with a time of 22.51 
 
400 Meters: 
  • Carson Page notched a mark of 52.62, good for 14th  
 
800 Meters: 
 
1,500 Meters: 
 
110 Meter Hurdles: 
  • Jack Harris crossed the finish line with a time of 16.37 to bring home fifth 
 
400 Meter Hurdles: 
  • Grant Lane grabbed a time of 56.25 to register a runner-up finish 
 
4 x 100 Relay: 
  • WashU's 4 x 100 relay team finished fourth with a time of 42.99 
 
4 x 400 Relay: 
  • WashU secured fourth (3:19.39), fifth 3:19.64), 11th (3:32.76), and 15th (3:41.12) in the 4 x 400 relay 
 
High Jump: 
  • Eli Goldman tied for third in the high jump with a leap of 1.85m

  • Seif Elkhashab spun a second-place finish with a mark of 45.91m
