Box Score St. Louis, Mo. – The No. 15 Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team defeated DePauw 9-0 on Saturday afternoon at Forest Lake Tennis Club. The Bears are now 4-1 overall.
 
Amber Edmonds and Eliana Hanna defeated Ellen Gardner and Kat Wilder 8-2 at No. 1 doubles. Eleanor Archer and Nina Moravek topped Valerie Doherty and Kassie Green 8-3 at No. 2 doubles while Maggie Yang and Katie Finerman beat Alex Preston and Katie King 8-1 at No. 3 doubles.
 
Archer went on to beat Gardner 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles while Edmonds defeated Doherty 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 singles.
 
Emily Chiasson topped Green 6-1, 6-3 at No. 3 singles and Katherine Johnston defeated King 6-4, 6-1 at No. 4 singles.
 
Carolyn Tsung beat Wilder 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5 singles and Randi Hendricks defeated Bella DeNardo 6-0, 6-2 at No. 6 singles.
 
The Bears return to action on Saturday with a 2 p.m. match against North Central at Tao Tennis Center.
