NEW YORK, N.Y. - After the first day of action, the Washington University in St. Louis men's track and field team sits in fourth at the University Athletic Association Indoor Track and Field Championships from New York, N.Y.

- Solomon Kang (6.83m) registered a fourth-place finish in the long
- Loucas Xenakis (6.72m) took fifth, while Dural (6.56m) took 11th
60 Meter Hurdles (Trials):
- Xenakis just missed getting a lane in the 60-meter hurdles final tomorrow as he finished ninth with a time of 8.89
400 Meters (Trials):
- Djetto (51.08) earned 10th, while Elvin Binagi (51.37) grabbed 11th
60 Meter (Trials):
- Alex Gardner (7.17) secured a lane in tomorrow's 60-meter final with his seventh-place finish
800 Meters (Trials):
200 Meters (Trials):
- Gardner hauled in fourth in the 200-meter prelim to earn a lane in tomorrow's final
- Gardner notched fourth with a mark of 22.41
- Binagi (22.95) took 10th
