Eliana Hanna lost to Tijana Zlatanovic and Lana Caculovic 8-4 at No. 1 doubles.
Eleanor Archer and
Nina Moravek fell to Silvia Pomarolli and Nevena Kolarevic 8-6 at No. 2 doubles and
Karen Gao and
Katherine Johnston lost to Nuria Sanz and Sofia Rodrigo 8-7 (9-7) at No. 3 doubles.
First-year
Emily Chiasson picked up the lone point of the day at No. 6 singles, defeating Rodrigo 4-6, 6-4, 10-3.
Moravek fell to Zlatanovic 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles and Archer lost to Caculovic 7-6 (5), 7-6 (3) at No. 2 singles.
Hanna was topped by Kolarevic 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles and Gao lost to Pomarolli 6-2, 6-3 at No. 4 singles. Edmonds fell to Sanz 6-2, 6-4 at No. 6 singles.
The Bears host Southwest Baptist on Saturday in a 6 p.m. match at Woodsmill Tennis Club.
