ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Washington University in St. Louis men's soccer team picked up its first UAA win of the season with a 2-0 victory over NYU on Saturday afternoon at Francis Olympic Field. WashU is now 7-4-1 on the year with a 1-2 mark in UAA play.

Zach Susee scored his team-leading seventh goal of the year to make it a 1-0 game.
It looked like it may end a 1-0 game, but sophomore
Carter Sasser added another goal in the 81
st minute. After two blocked shots, Sasser put it away to give the Bears a 2-0 lead.

Ethan Wirtschafter recorded four shots with three on goal while Sasser and graduate student
Jesus Tadeo had three shots with two on goal.

The Bears are back home next weekend, starting with Carnegie Mellon at 6 p.m. on Friday evening, which will be the Latine Heritage Month game. On Sunday, the Bears will honor their seniors prior to taking on Case Western Reserve University at 1:30 p.m.
