Box Score St. Louis, Mo. – The No. 7 Washington University in St. Louis men's tennis team topped DePauw 9-0 on Sunday afternoon at Tao Tennis Center.
At doubles,
Abhi Ramireddy and
Phuc Huynh defeated Thomas Partridge and Ryan McCook 8-2 at first doubles.
Pato Garcia Muriel and
Colin Scruggs beat Cole Metzger and Hudson Mosher 8-2 at second doubles while
Lucas Guy and
Henri Ohl topped Jake Watson and Finley Buelto 8-6 at third doubles.
Huynh also notched a win over Partridge at first singles, winning 6-0, 6-1.
Jared Phillips beat Buelte 6-0, 7-6(3) at second singles and Scruggs defeated McCook 6-0, 6-0 at third singles.
Eric Kuo beat Jake Louiselle 6-3, 6-1 at fourth singles while
John Fakouri topped Cole Metzger 6-2, 6-3 at fifth singles.
Scott Yamamoto beat Grayson Zylstra 6-0, 6-3 at sixth singles.
The Bears are back in action over spring break (March 14-17) in Florida, starting with a match against Embry-Riddle on March 14.
