Box Score St. Louis, Mo. – The No. 7 Washington University in St. Louis men's tennis team defeated UW-Whitewater 9-0 on Saturday afternoon to improve to 6-1 on the season.
 
Abhi Ramireddy and Phuc Huynh defeated John Zakowski and Luke VanDonslear 8-7 (7-5) at first doubles. Gaurav Singh and Scott Yamamoto topped Cole Lindwall and Tyler Nelson 8-6 at second doubles while Pato Garcia Muriel and Collin Scruggs topped Will Uldrich and Josh Baldwin 8-4 at third doubles.
 
Ramireddy picked up a win over Zakowski at first singles, 6-4, 6-2 while Huynh topped VanDonslear 6-0, 6-1 at second singles.
 
Phillips defeated Lindwall 6-2, 6-0 at third singles and Singh took down Nelson 3-6, 7-5, 10-6 at fourth singles.
 
Scruggs beat Uldrich 6-1, 6-2 at fifth singles and Eric Kuo notched a win over Payton Adkisson 6-0, 6-1 at sixth singles.
 
The Bears are back in action tomorrow with a home match against UW-Whitewater at 1 p.m.
