The No. 3 Washington University in St. Louis women's soccer team defeated No. 15 Emory University 2-0 on Sunday in the UAA opener. The Bears remain the only team in any division in the country that hasn't let up a goal this season.

Sophie Viscovich controlled it and slipped it to
Ella Koleno. Koleno fired the ball into the right corner of the net for her third goal of the season.

Regan Cannon scored her first career goal on a pass from
Sara Giannotti, hitting the top right corner of the net.

Emory's best chance to score was in the 74
th minute. What would have been a goal for the Eagles ended up being called back due to an offside call.

The Bears tallied 13 total shots with six on goal while Emory had eight total with five on goal.

WashU hosts Webster on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in a midweek non-conference matchup. The Bears then take on Brandeis on Saturday at 11 a.m. before hitting the road for five-straight games.
