New Orleans, La. -- All Region honors for the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season were announced on Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following the conclusion of the regular season.
On the men's side, nine Bears were earned All-Region honors. Gio Alfred (110 Hurdles), Jeff Candell (Steeplechase), Will Houser (800M), Michael Ly (Steeplechase), Tommaso Maiocco (Pole Vault), Matt Moore (Long Jump), Jacob Ridderhoff (1500M), Michael Snyder (High Jump), and Andrew Whitaker (110 Hurdles) were named to the list.
The WashU women posted 26 combined to the All-Region squad, as Lauren Gay tabbed four All-Region accolades and Emma Kelley and Alicia Gupte each earned three All-Region honors apiece.
In addition, Emma Walter, Emily Konkus, Ava Forman, and Mycah Clay were named to the all-region list twice.
WashU was one of 15 programs that earned 20 or more All-Region honors for their efforts during the 2022 outdoor season.
Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.
Only USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.
