Bronx, N.Y. – The Washington University in St. Louis women's soccer team fell to NYU, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon. The Bears are now 8-5-5 overall and 2-4 in the UAA.
The Violets scored one goal in each half en route to the 2-0 victory. NYU's Jordan Tate scored just 12:02 in on a pass from Gabriella Funk to go up 1-0.

Sidney Conner stopped a shot by Funk in the 51
st minute but the Violets kept pushing and scored again in the 67
th minute. Hunter Hoelscher scored on a pass from Elizabeth Argenziano to make it a 2-0 game.
The Violets finished with 11 shots including three on goal while the Bears did not record a shot throughout the game.
WashU wraps up the regular-season next weekend with a game at Chicago on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
