Greencastle, Ind., March 28, 2021 – The Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team picked up a 9-0 road win over DePauw Sunday afternoon at the DePauw Indoor Tennis and Track Center.

The Bears improved to 3-1 with the win while the Tigers fell to 1-5.

WashU picked up an 8-4 doubles win from Ally Persky and Karen Gao at No. 1, an 8-1 win from Katherine Johnston and Laurel Wanger at No. 2 and an 8-4 win from Emma Sass and Divya Sharma at No. 3. 

The Bears didn't drop a set on their way to a sweep at singles. Persky won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1, Sharma won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2, Wanger won 6-2, 6-4 at No. 3, Sophia Huynh won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 4, Hannah Johnston won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5 and Sass won 6-4, 6-0 at No. 6.
