Singles Play Leads No. 16 WashU Past No. 27 Denison

Madison, Wis., April 6, 2019 – The No. 16-ranked Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team won the third-place match at the Madison Invitational with a 6-3 victory over No. 27 Denison University Saturday in Madison, Wis.

WashU improved to 6-9 with the win, while Denison dropped to 9-8.

The Bears trailed 2-1 after doubles play, but won five of six singles matches to secure the victory.
