No. 6 WashU Drops 5-4 Match at No. 2 Chicago

Chicago, Ill., April 14, 2019 – The No. 6-ranked Washington University in St. Louis men's tennis team suffered a 5-4 loss to No. 2 University of Chicago in a battle of top-10 teams Sunday at the XS Tennis Center in Chicago, Ill.

Chicago won its fourth-straight match to improve to 15-1, while WashU had its six-match win streak snapped and fell to 13-5.

With the match tied at 4-4, No. 16 Jeremy Yuan recorded a 6-3, 6-7 (2), 6-4 victory over No. 32 Bernardo Neves at No. 2 singles.
