Neves Leads No. 8 WashU Past No. 15 Carnegie Mellon

Orlando, Fla., March 11, 2019 – Junior Bernardo Neves picked up a pair of victories to lead the No. 8-ranked Washington University in St. Louis men's tennis team past No. 15 Carnegie Mellon University 6-3 Monday in Orlando. 

With Neves' two wins, he moved past Jason Haugen and Kevin Chu into 16th place all-time in career victories (117). He teamed with senior Konrad Kozlowski for an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles over the No. 5-ranked team in Division III, his first ranked win in doubles of his career.

WashU picked up its third-straight victory to improve to 7-3, while Carnegie Mellon fell to 5-4.
