No. 9 WashU Falls to No. 7 Gustavus in Top-10 Matchup

Belleville, Ill., March 24, 2018 – The No. 9-ranked Washington University in St. Louis men's tennis team could not overcome a 3-0 doubles deficit as the Bears suffered a 5-4 loss to No. 7 Gustavus Adolphus College Saturday night at Kings Point Sports Club in Belleville, Ill.

Gustavus, who won three matches on the day, improved to 13-5, while WashU fell to 7-6.

Tommy Entwistle sealed the victory for Gustavus Adolphus with a 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) victory over Koki Takabatake at No. 6 singles.
