Track & Field Places Top-50 DIII Marks at Dr. Keeler Invite

Naperville, Ill., May 11, 2017 – Sophomore Heidi Nassos led the Bears with a first place finish in pole vault at the North Central College Dr. Keeler Track & Field Invitational on Thursday as multiple Bears placed top-50 marks in Division III. 

Nassos earned a first place finish with a 3.66m height to capture first as Dominique Meyer placed sixth for WashU with 3.51m. Nassos clearance ranks in the top-28, while her season-best 3.75m from the Saint Louis University Meet ranks 18th

Senior Annie Marggraff placed fifth in the 5,000m run with a time of 17:20.45. Her time ranks 32nd in Division III this season.

On the men's side junior David O'Gara placed third in the 10,000m run, finishing the distance in 30:23.94. His time ranks 18th in Division III this season, while senior Everett Kleven also placed third in pole vault with a height of 4.93m. His clearance ranks within the top-10 of Division III this season, while his season-best 5.12m mark at the UAA Championships ranks third in the nation.
