No. 10 WashU Notches Two Ranked Wins at Midwest Invite

Madison, Wis., April 7, 2017 – The No. 10-ranked Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team advanced to the championship match of the 2017 Midwest Invitational with a pair of ranked wins Friday in Madison, Wis. 

The Bears defeated No. 23 Hope College 6-3 in the opener, and then posted a 6-3 victory over No. 35 Gustavus Adolphus College in the nightcap. WashU extended its winning streak to four matches and improved its overall record to 9-6.
