Claremont, Calif., March 14, 2017 – The No. 5-ranked Washington University in St. Louis men's tennis team split a pair of matches Tuesday at the 10th Annual Stag-Hen Invitational held at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges in Claremont, Calif.
The Bears posted a 6-3 win over No. 24 Skidmore College in the opening round, and built a 3-0 lead against host and No. 6 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps before falling 6-3 in the semifinals.
WashU (4-3) takes on No. 9 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges in the third-place match Wednesday at 9 a.m. (PT).
