No. 9 Women's Tennis Wins Seventh Straight Match with 6-3 Victory Over No. 23 Case

Chicago, Ill., April 12, 2014 – The No. 9-ranked Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team earned a 6-3 win over No. 23 Case Western Reserve University Saturday to extend its winning streak to seven matches.

Washington U. improved to 14-3 with the win, marking the eighth time in head coach Kelly Stahlhuth's nine seasons that the Bears have won at least 14 matches. Senior Theresa Petraskova picked up a key win for Washington U. at No. 4 singles, trailing 5-0 in the second set before winning 7-5 and taking the third set 7-5.
