Annitre Edison enters her 20th season as an assistant women's basketball coach at Washington University for the 2023-24 season.

Edison has been an assistant coach for many successful seasons at WashU including a Division III National Championship in 2009-10 and multiple runner-up finishes. Spanning over the 21 seasons Edison has been associated with the Bears as a player and coach, WashU has captured 13 University Athletic Association (UAA) titles and advanced to the NCAA Tournament 20 times.

Edison graduated in 1996 from WashU after lettering four years in basketball under Hall of Fame coach Nancy Fahey. During her time as a student-athlete at WashU, Edison was part of three UAA Championships and four NCAA Tournament berths, including an NCAA runner-up finish in 1994.

Before joining the WashU coaching staff, Edison coached several select basketball teams and on the high school level in Akron, Ohio and St. Louis.

Edison currently works as a Director of Application Technology in the Consumer Products industry.
