Jason Jabbari

Jason Jabbari enters his sixth season as an assistant men’s basketball coach at Washington University in St. Louis in 2020-21. Jabbari earned his PHD in education at WashU in 2019, and is a data analyst at the Social Policy Institute.

During his four years on staff, WashU has accumulated 82-22 overall record, won three University Athletic Association (UAA) championships, and made three NCAA Tournament appearances. Jabbari was named to the 2020 UAA Men's Basketball Coaching Staff of the Year after healping lead the Bears to the UAA title and an appearance in the Sweet 16.

A St. Louis native, he graduated from Loyola University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in English. Jabbari obtained his master’s degree in school leadership from Harvard in 2015, where he served as a graduate assistant with the Harvard men’s basketball team. 

Jabbari and his wife JoAnn are the proud parents of a six-year old son, John, three-year old son Zach, and 6-month old daughter, Claire.
