High School: Played four years of football, earning three varsity letters... Captained the team... Led the team with four interceptions as a junior, and was second on the team with 56 tackles... Earned first-team all City-League... Helped lead the team to the first 10-0 season and division championship appearance in school history, and the second league championship in history... A two-time Union Tribune All-Academic Team honoree... Also a four-year member of the basketball team.
