ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Washington University in St. Louis Sports Medicine Office announces Courtney Nall as the new assistant athletic trainer for the Bears. Nall begins her duties on Monday, August 10.
Nall comes to WashU from Division II Mars Hill University in North Carolina where she was athletic trainer for football, women's basketball and men's basketball since August 2021. Nall was also part of the Student Care Team which was a group tasked with discussing and managing various student cases ranging from regular to crisis situations. Additionally, she was the Radiation Safety Officer.
Prior to her time at Mars Hill, Nall spent a year at the University of Louisville where she worked with the rowing team.
A Chesterfield, Mo. native, Nall received her master's degree in athletic training from Saint Louis University and gained clinical experience at WashU with the Bears. While at SLU, she also worked with the St. Louis Battlehawks, Parkway West High School and the Central Institute for Human Performance.
Nall received her bachelor of science degree in exercise science from the University of Arkansas, where she was a swimmer for the Division I Razorbacks.
With the Bears, Nall will work with women's soccer, swimming and diving and softball.
