LA CROSSE, Wis. – The No. 3 Washington University in St. Louis women's track and field team wrapped up action on day one of the 2026 NCAA Div. III Outdoor Track and Field National Championships. The three-day meet is being hosted by UW-La Crosse.

Results:

• Pole Vault
  • Senior Mackenzie Walker finished in a tie for 14^th place with a clear of 3.75m
• 1500m (Prelims)
  • Sophomore Lucinda Laughlin finished second in qualifying with a time of 4:24.25.
  • She advances to finals on Saturday, May 23 at 1:25 p.m.
• 200m (Prelims)
  • Senior Kylie Spytek finished in 11^th place with her time of 24.48
• 4x400m (Prelims) 
  • The team of sophomore Quinn Bird, junior Julia Coric, Spytek, and sophomore Hailey Weir finished qualifying in fifth place with a time of 3:44.59
  • They advance to the final on on Saturday, May 23 at 4:50 p.m. 
• 3000m Steeplechase (Prelims)
  • Senior Riley Clark finished second in qualifying with her time of 10:26.56
  • She advances to the finals on Friday, May 22 at 7 p.m.
