ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Washington University in St. Louis golf senior
Sydney Kuo was named the 2025 UAA Women's Golf Player of the Year for the fourth time in her career, the conference announced on Thursday. Kuo is the only player in WashU or UAA history to earn Player of the Year honors more than twice.
Kuo was also named to the first team along with junior
Tiffany Chan.
Kuo capped off an illustrious career at WashU with a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Championships this past week. Additionally, she earned WGCA First Team All-America honors, which marks her fourth-straight First Team All-America nod. Prior to that, Kuo was named to the WGCA All-Central Region Team.
In addition to being a four-time UAA Player of the Year and four-time First Team All-American, Kuo was named the PING WGCA Player of the Year as a sophomore as well as a DIII Honda Athlete of the Year finalist that same year.
Chan picks up her first All-UAA honor after a stellar junior season in which she was also named a WGCA Second Team All-American and earned WGCA All-Central Region honors. Chan was part of the fifth-place squad at the NCAA Championships and the team that won the Golfweek October Classic in the fall.
