NEW YORK, N.Y. – 2025 UAA WOMEN'S OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONS!!!
The No. 1 Washington University in St. Louis women's outdoor track and field team have defended their title and claimed the 2025 UAA Outdoor Championship on Sundy at Ichan Stadium in New York, N.Y.! The Bears have now won the past eight UAA Outdoor team championships.
The Bears pulled away from second place Emory on Sunday to finish with 222 points while the Eagles were runner-up with 189 points.

- Graduate Ebun Opata finished third with a leap of 5.80m
- 4x100 Relay
- 1500m
- 100m Hurdles
- Gay finished in third place with a time of 14.85
- 400m
- Junior Kylie Spytek was runner-up with a time of 55.16
- Sophomore Cate Christopher and first-year Quinn Bird were fourth and fifth, respectively, with times of 56.52 and 56.62.
- Sophomore Julia Coric also scored team points, finishing in seventh with a time of 58.22
- 100m
- Wright claimed the event title with a time of 12.05
- Stewart was fourth with a time of 12.26 and Davis was eighth with a time of 27.83
- 800m
- Gorton claimed her UAA title with a time of 2:14.61.
- Sophomore Caroline Echols made it a 1-2 punch with a runner-up time of 2:15.32
- Junior Cate Stevens added points for WashU with a time of 2:17.77, finishing fifth
- 400m Hurdles
- Senior Ruby Kaplan took home a runner-up finish with a time of 1:04.38
- 200m
- Four Bears finished in the top eight, led by Gay, Spytek, and Stewart, who finished in third through fifth place, respectively.
- They had times of 24.60, 24.64, and 24.82
- Bird also claimed a point with her eighth place finish in a time of 25.07
- 5000m
- Junior Jillian Heth took home an eighth place finish with a time of 17:23.39
- 4x400m
- Bird, Christopher, Coric and Echols claimed the UAA title with a time of 3:46.79
- High Jump
- Opata claimed the UAA title with a height of 1.72m, the only one to above 1.58m
- Triple Jump
- It was back-to-back titles for Opata on Sunday with the win in the triple jump on a distance of 12.80m, marking .34m more than the runner-up from Brandeis
- Discus
- Senior Catryn Cattoor claimed the final team point in the event with a throw of 39.58m
