CHESTERFIELD, Mo. – The No. 6 Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team swept Rhodes and UW-Eau Claire, 7-0, on Saturday evening at Forest Lake Tennis Club. The Bears are 3-0 on the season since beginning the spring schedule a week ago.
This season, doubles will count as one point, and the team that wins two of the three doubles matches will earn the doubles point. Additionally, doubles will be played to six points rather than the previous eight.

Ally Lin defeated Mary Gracie Rask and Emma McHale 6-2 at No. 1 doubles.

Carolyn Tsung topped Violet Taub and Anna Rush 6-3 at No. 3 doubles.

Caitlin Bui beat Rask 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles and Hanna defeated McHale 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 singles.
Lin beat Baba 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles and junior
Nina Moravek defeated Higgins 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.

Emily Chiasson beat Sofia Rodriguez 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 singles and Brissett defeated Taub 6-3, 6-4 at No. 6 singles.

Eleanor Archer and Bui defeated Samantha Fuchs and Anna Lee 6-0 at No. 1 doubles.
Hanna and Lin beat Beatriz Felchak and Reese Burton 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
Edmonds and Slowik topped Olivia Herzog and Morgan Dekan 6-1 at No. 3 doubles.
Archer beat Fuchs 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles while Moravek beat Lee 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles.
Lin defeated Dekan 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles and Edmonds topped Felchak 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.
Chiasson beat Herzog 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 singles and Slowik defeated Burton 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.
The Bears host DePauw next weekend on Saturday, February 15 at 7 p.m. at Forest Lake Tennis Club. It is the final match prior to WashU heading to the ITA Indoor National Championship which begins on February 28 with a match against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
