KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Washington University in St. Louis women's soccer sophomore forward
Olivia Clemons is the United Soccer Coaches Player of the Year, the organization announced on Tuesday.
She is the second person in program history to earn this honor, joining Lizzy Crist in 2016.
"

Olivia is special player and teammate. She has a unique ability to change the field quickly," said Head Coach
Jim Conlon. "She is extremely humble and wants the best for her teammates. Her actions help others around her be the best version of themselves."
This caps off an award-filled year for the Kansas City native. Following the Bears' second-straight national title, Clemons was named the NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Offensive Player for the second year in a row. Prior to that, she earned her first-career All-America honor, picking up a spot on the United Soccer Coaches First Team and was named United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Region.
Additionally, Clemons repeated as UAA Offensive Player of the Year and earned a spot on the first team. She is the lone forward in WashU history to earn the same major award in consecutive seasons.
Clemons continued to be an offensive spark for the Bears during her sophomore campaign, leading the team in goals (17) and points (40) for the second-straight season. Three of her goals were game-winners and she led the team with 93 total shots and 53 shots on goal. Additionally, Clemons recorded six assists this season.
On the all-time lists, Clemons' 39 career goals ranks eighth and her 90 career points ranks seventh. For a single-season, she ranks third all-time for her 22 goals in 2024 and fifth for 2025's 17 goals. For single-season points, she ranks fourth for 2024's 50 points and seventh for 2025's 40 points.
