Pair of WashU Hoopers Named D3hoops.com Preseason All-Americans

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Washington University in St. Louis women's basketball junior Lexy Harris and men's basketball sophomore Connor May were named to the D3hoops.com Preseason All-America list, the organization recently announced. Harris earned a spot on the first team while May was named to the fourth team.
 
Harris earned D3hoops.com Third Team All-America honors as a sophomore after averaging 16.4 points and 9.2 rebounds per game, tallying 10 double-doubles on the year. She was also named to the D3hoops.com First Team All-Region and was a First Team All-UAA honoree.
 
Last season, May became the fifth player in program history to earn UAA Rookie of the Year honors. He played in all 30 games, making three starts and was an integral part in the Bears' Final Four run. May averaged 11.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game in his debut season.
 
Both teams open up the 2025-26 season next weekend. The men's team hosts Carroll on Friday night, Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. The following day, Saturday, Nov. 8, the women's team heads to UW-Whitewater for a 2 p.m. tip-off.
 
The following weekend, Friday, Nov. 14-Saturday, No. 15, the Bears will host a combined weekend for the 24th Annual McWilliams Classic and the 41st Lopata Classic. The men will take on Eureka at 5 p.m. on Friday, followed by the women against Benedictine at 7 p.m.
 
All home games will be streamed live exclusively on FloSports.
