ATLANTA, Ga. – The No. 2 Washington University in St. Louis women's soccer team defeated No. 1 Emory on Sunday afternoon, 2-1. The Bears are 15-0-1 on the year with a 5-0 mark in UAA play, holding first place in the conference standings.

Madi Foley at the top of the box and fired it into the left corner for a 1-0 lead. It marks Ehlert's 11
th goal on the season.
The Eagles came out 1:35 into the second half to score the equalizer as Kaitlyn Nimmer took a long pass from Sophia Asiain to finish for the 1-1 game.

Olivia Clemons, who sped around her defenders and fired a long ball into the right corner for her UAA-best 14
th goal of the year.
Statistically, WashU edged Emory 13-12 in shots with a 4-3 advantage in shots on goal. The Eagles had the edge in corner kicks, 5-3.

Lanthier made two saves on the day to earn the win in the net. Both saves were in the first half, less than a minute apart on shots by Madison Teng and Emory Bozzuti.
The Bears return home for their final two games of the regular season, starting with NYU on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 1:30 p.m. The following weekend, WashU hosts Chicago at 6:30 p.m. as part of a triple-header with men's soccer and football.
