VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Day one of the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships saw first year

Loucas Xenakis, Lichtenberger, and senior
Tommaso Maiocco all saw action in the first day of competition.
After four heptathlon events, Xenakis sits in 18th- place, with 2,561 points.

Pole Vault (Final):
- ALL-AMERICAN
- Utilizing a program record vault, Peter Lichtenberger secured All-American status with his fifth-place finish
- Lichtenberger cleared the 5.03m bar to break Evertt Kleven's mark of 5.01m that was set in 2017
- Tommaso Maiocco earned a personal-best mark of 4.88m to earn a tie for 10th
