Women's 800 Freestyle Relay Places Eighth at NCAA Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Washington University in St. Louis women's swimming and diving team earned 22 points on day three of the 2024 NCAA Swimming and Diving Champions. The Bears are in 17th place with 37 total points.
 
WashU's 800 freestyle relay team of sophomore Rin Iimi, junior Isabella Barrientos, first-year Rachel Bello and sophomore Ali Roche claimed eighth place with a time of 7:29.89 to earn All-America status and reach the podium.
 
The Bears wrap up the NCAA Championships tomorrow with the following events: 100 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 200 breaststroke, 400 freestyle relay, 1,650 freestyle and 3-meter diving.
