CHICAGO, Ill. – The No. 14 Washington University in St. Louis men's swimming and diving team sits in fifth place following day three of the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships, hosted by the University of Chicago.
The Bears have 731 points after three days of competition. Emory leads the field with 1,188 points.

Austin Bick finished fifth in the 200 medley relay, racing to a time of 1:29.21, hitting an NCAA B cut and a 2023 qualifying time.
Junior
Danny Sibley finished fourth in the 400 IM, racing to a time of 3:54.68 which was an NCAA qualifying time in 2023.
Bick was the top finisher for WashU in the 100 butterfly, claiming seventh with an NCAA B cut time of 48.74. Senior
Kyle Wolford finished 12
th overall with a time of 49.26.
Junior
Pace Edwards took fourth in the 200 freestyle, racing to an NCAA B cut time of 1:39.21. Senior
Mark Lipkin finished fifth with a time of 1:39.29. Sophomore
Ethan Feng won the B Final with an NCAA B cut time of 1:39.67.
Lin was the top Bears' finisher in the 100 breaststroke, taking 14
th overall with a time of 56.10.
McCormick claimed third in the 100 backstroke, racing to an NCAA B cut and 2023 qualifying time of 47.87. All three top times broke the previous UAA record. Wolford also reached the podium with a seventh-place finish in 49.10.
In the final event, the 800 freestyle relay, the team of Feng, Edwards, Sibley and Lipkin finished third with a time of 6:35.38. The top three times all beat the previous pool record.
The Bears wrap up the UAA Championships on Saturday with the 1,650 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, 200 butterfly and 400 freestyle relay.
