Jefferson City, Mo. – The Washington University in St. Louis track and field teams competed at the Lincoln Open Track and Field meet on Saturday afternoon.
WOMEN
First-year
Jenae Bothe finished fourth in the shot put, hitting a mark of 12.64m which ranks 38
th nationally and fourth in program history. Graduate
Krista Sudar finished tied for 15
th with a mark of 11.33m.
Bothe also took fourth in the discus, reaching 39.71m which is tied for seventh in program history and ranks 45
th nationally.
Kally Mack finished sixth with a throw of 39.10 and Sudar took ninth with a throw of 39.72.
Senior Lauren Bucchieri took third in the long jump, reaching 5.26m.
First-year
Danielle Cuthbert finished third in the triple jump, reaching a mark of 10.69m and senior
Kaitlin Day took sixth with a jump of 10.17m.
Graduate
Miku Okada finished second in the high jump, clearing 1.64m which ranks sixth in program history and is tied for 11
th nationally. Bucchieri finished tied for fifth with a jump of 1.58m which is tied for 10
th in program history and 47
th nationally. Junior
Maddie Moenickheim finished seventh with a jump of 1.58m, which is tied for 47
th nationally and 10
th in program history.
Sophomore
Yasmin Ruff won the pole vault, clearing 3.81m which ranks seventh nationally. Junior
Anna Curtis took third with a clear of 3.27m.
Sudar finished fifth in the hammer throw, hitting a mark of 45.25m.
MEN
Graduate
Matt Moore finished fifth in the long jump, reaching a mark of 6.49m while first-year
Jalen Dural took eighth with a jump of 6.27m.
Senior
Abayomi Awoyomi finished fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 13.74m.
Junior
Tommaso Maiocco finished fifth in the pole vault, clearing 4.50m. Senior Sam Winiarski took sixth, clearing 4.35m while sophomore
Loucas Xenakis took seventh, clearing 4.35m. Senior
Evan Brown Ton finished tied for eighth, clearing 3.85m.
