St. Louis, Mo. – The No. 2 Washington University in St. Louis women's track and field team won the WashU Invite on Saturday with 236 points. Greenville took second with 85.5 points.
The Bears also hosted the WashU Distance Carnival on Friday and Saturday.

Nicole Stewart won the 100m dash with a time of 12.07, posting the fourth-best time in program history and ranking eighth nationally. First-year
Jasmine Wright finished third with a time of 12.21 which ranks ninth in program history and 19

Lauren Hamilton took fifth with a time of 12.47 which ranks 42
nd nationally.

Lauren Gay finished third in the 200m dash with a time of 25.43 while junior
Charis Riebe took eight in 26.90. Gay went on to win the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.55.

Kathryn Leighty won the 400m with a time of 1:00.95.

Izzy Gorton won the 800m with a time of 2:18.54 while sophomore
Sophie Bekins took second in 2:19.72. First-year
Cate Stevens finished third in 2:20.97 while sophomore

The Bears 4x100 team of Stewart, Wright, Hamilton and Gay won the field with a time of 48.49.
The 4x400 team of Kaplan, Stewart, Fowler and Leighty won with a time of 4:04.12 which ranks 19
th nationally. The group of
Margaux Thigpen, Gorton, Bekins and Llevat finished second in 4:11.78.
Graduate
Miku Okada took second in the high jump, clearing 1.60m.
Sophomore
Yasmin Ruff won the pole vault with a clear of 3.75m which ranks seventh nationally.

Laura Bucchieri finished second in the long jump with a leap of 5.04m.

Kaitlin Day won the triple jump, hitting a mark of 10.66m while first-year
Danielle Cuthbert took second with a jump of 10.61m.

Jenae Bothe took second in the shot put, hitting 12.54m which ranks fourth in program history and 20
th nationally.

Krista Sudar won the discus throw with a hurl of 40.85m which ranks fourth in program history and 13
th nationally. First-year
Kally Mack finished second with a mark of 40.16 which ranks fifth in program history and 22
nd nationally while Bothe took third with a throw of 39.02m which ranks ninth in program history and 27
th nationally.
Sudar also won the hammer throw, hitting 46.31m which ranks 23
rd nationally.
Rafaela Diamond finished fourth in the javelin, hitting a mark of 31.49m.
