St. Louis, Mo. – The No. 19 Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team beat Webster 9-0 on Saturday afternoon. The Bears are now 11-8 on the season heading into next weekend's UAA Championships.
 
The duo of Karen Gao and Eliana Hanna defeated Erin Brezovar and Bailey Higgins 8-2 at first doubles.
 
Carolyn Tsung and Maggie Yang beat Emma Ferguson and Kylie Chitwodd 8-1 at second doubles.
 
Natalie Muldowney and Randi Hendricks topped Maddie Mena and Bailee Pineda 8-3 at third doubles.
 
Gao notched a win over Brezovar at first singles, 7-5, 6-0 while Sophia Huynh beat Ferguson 6-0, 6-0 at second singles.
 
Hallie Jeffers defeated Higgins 6-1, 6-1 at third singles while Ainsley Heidbreder beat Chitwood 6-1, 6-1 at fourth singles.
 
Hendricks downed Mena 6-0, 6-0 at fifth singles and Muldowney defeated Pineda 6-1, 6-1 at sixth singles.
 
The Bears head down to Orlando, Fla. next weekend for the UAA Championships.
