Jacksonville, Ill. – The No. 2 Washington University in St. Louis women's track and field team won eight events at the Hilltop Classic, hosted by Illinois College.

Emma Kelley finished first in the 400m, running a time of 56.14, which ranks third nationally when adjusted for track size, and ranks second all-time in program history. Spytek finished second in 58.22 which ranks 22

Meredith Lang took fifth in 5:25.91.

Emily Konkus won the 3,000m, racing to a time of 9:36.06, ranking third nationally and breaking the program record. First-year
Katie Rector took second in 10:16.21 while junior
Avery McCammon finished third in 10:33.62.
WashU took the top four spots in the 4x400 relay, led by the team of sophomore
Nicole Stewart, Fox, Sarussi and Kelley who won in 3:55.99.

Mycah Clay finished second in the 55m, running a time of 7.32 which is the fifth-fasted time in program history. Junior Natalie Swineheart finished third in 7.55 while junior
Gemma Pleas took ninth in 7.69.
First-year
Kylie Spytek finished second in the 200m, running a time of 25.83. Stewart took third in 25.88 and Clay finished sixth in 26.43.

Charis Riebe took 11
th in the 55 hurdles with a time of 19.32.

Yasmin Ruff won the pole vault, clearing 3.87m which ranks fourth all-time and fourth nationally. Junior
Anna Curtis took second with a mark of 3.35m while sophomore
Makenzie Stock finished third, clearing 3.20m.
