Atlanta, Ga. – The No. 13 Washington University in St. Louis men's swimming and diving team finished third at the UAA Championships, racking up 1,226 points over the span of four days.
Junior
Alexander McCormick headlined the day with a win in the 200 backstroke, swimming to a time of 1:44.61, breaking the meet record (set in 2018). Junior
Kyle Wolford also finished among the top eight, taking seventh in 1:49.93.
Three Bears finished among the top eight in the 1,650 freestyle, led by senior
Mason Kelber in fourth place with a time of 15:32.00. Sophomore
Ryan Hillery took sixth in 15:46.18 and
Jeffrey Forbes finished seventh with a time of 15:47.51. First-year Matthew Giardinelli took 11
th in 15:57.39.

Austin Bick took fifth in the 100 freestyle, racing to a time of 45.31.

Jonathan Kim finished sixth in the 200 breaststroke, swimming a 2:00.93.

Matthew Walker took fourth in the 200 butterfly, racing to a time of 1:48.45 while sophomore
