St. Louis, Mo. – The No. 3 Washington University in St. Louis women's soccer team kept things rolling with a 3-0 win over Fontbonne on Sunday afternoon. The Bears are now 11-0 overall and remain the lone team across all divisions and genders to not concede a goal this season.
The Bears got on the board 17:04 in as sophomore
Ella Koleno scored on a pass from
Regan Cannon. It marks Koleno's fourth goal of the season.
WashU added a second goal in the 64
th minute as Sara Gianotti netted her second goal of the season.
First-year
Julia Moore scored her first career goal at the 72:04 mark, scoring off a pass from
Sophie Viscovich.
The Bears dominated on the offensive ended, recording 28 shots with 15 on goal while WashU's defense limited Fontbonne to just two shots with one on goal. The Bears also recorded seven corner kicks.
Senior goalkeeper
Sidney Conner made one save in the net, earning her ninth blank sheet of the season. Conner is one of four goalkeepers tied for first in the nation with a .000 goals-against average and 1.000 save percentage.
The Bears hit the road for an 11 a.m. ET match at NYU on Saturday.
