Tuyet Truong was announced as an assistant athletic trainer on July 28, 2023 and enters her fourth year at WashU.
A St. Louis native, she arrived on the Danforth campus after spending two years at UMSL as an assistant athletic trainer. During that time, she also served as the interim head athletic trainer for spring 2023. While at UMSL, she was responsible for scheduling, monthly reporting, management of physicals, insurance, inventory and supply order.

Prior to UMSL, Truong served as the head athletic trainer for outreach and expansion at Athleticare Sports Health Foundation for just over two years. In this role she helped provide athletic training services to over 18 high school and youth sports organizations. She was also responsible for reaching out to high schools to discuss the importance and benefits of having athletic training services available.

Truong graduated with a bachelor's degree in athletic training from Southeast Missouri State and went on to complete her master's degree in applied exercise science: human movement science from Concordia University of Chicago.
